If I want your opinion, I'll give it to you.

Reason with most people means their own opinion.

Ain't it the truth! Especially in politics today. It seems that both sides are only willing to listen to opinions which reinforce their world view. There is little-or-no movement to the middle, toward compromise. I wonder where it will end? Will it take a major disaster or uprising to make politicians and the money which support them to realize that this is unsustainable? Aren't they learning anything from the unrest in the Middle East or from the history which shows that as the divide between the rich and the poor grows, so does the pressure to change the situation? Apparently not. The quote, above, holds sway more than ever.
